Dr. Trae Cutchin

Dr. Trae Cutchin

In 1988 Dr. Cutchin received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine; he had already received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Auburn University in 1985.  He has spent the last two decades in the Metro Atlanta area in clinical practice.  Before coming to Flowery Branch he spent three of those years honing his skills in emergency medicine.  This included some time doing emergency relief work at a noted veterinary specialty practice.  He also spent another four years concentrating on the special needs of cats in an exclusively feline practice.  For five years of his career, he served as the medical director of two of the  veterinary hospitals at which he was employed.  In 2006 he founded Friendship Springs Veterinary Care so that he might make his vision of veterinary medicine a reality.  He grew up in rural Alabama, the son of a retired Air Force sergeant who has been his source of inspiration throughout his life.  He has two cats at home, Shane and Samantha, and three dogs, Darhla, Chloe, and Turbo.  In his spare time he enjoys working on his lawn and garden, reading, and fly fishing.

Rhonda

Rhonda enjoys working with people; so much so that it's no wonder that she had her own business helping people as a wedding photographer for more than twenty years.  As a much appreciated member of our management staff she continues to be of service to others by helping them with their pet problems. She is always ready to lend a hand and a smile.  She has five children and two grandchildren with another one on the way.  She is looking for ward to spending the next many years with her husband, children, and grandchildren.  She has had many pets over the years.

Wendy

Wendy has worked previously with a veterinarian and is experienced in patient care.  Her youth and enthusiasm drive her to continue to hone her skills in animal nursing and customer service.  She is married to Ryan, and they have two dogs, a cat and three sons.  She adopted her cat when no else would because it has the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)--she had been living in a kennel for over six months with little attention and no exercise.  Wendy's heart and willingness to jump right in make her a very invaluable part of our professional team.  She loves to express herself though art; in fact, Wendy designed our hospital logo.  She and her family currently reside happily in Gainesville.  She has been with us since the day we opened.
